My mom uses math in cooking when she needs to convert recipe quantities(like making for 4 people to 160 people.

My mom needs to use math in sewing to calculate material needed for projects. My dad uses math when he hangs up pictures for my mom. My dad uses math when he mixes lawn chemicals. My dad uses math at work to design electronics.
My mom uses math in cooking, measuring, buying things, in the morning so she knows how much time she has to get ready for work, counting up money for how much to pay for my lunch every week.

5 ways my parents use math either at home or at work are:
1. to calculate medication dosages
2. to balance the bank accounts (like the checkbook)
3. to calculate energy usage of a business
4. to double a recipe while cooking or baking
5. making change or tipping the waiter at a restaurant or store

My mom has to use math at work to calculate medicine doses, measure doses of liquid medicine, and measure size of reaction to allergy shots. She also has to use math at home when she cooks (yum) and pays bills.

Five ways my parents use math are:
1. Dad is an actuary for an insurance company. He works with a lot of numbers and math everyday.
2. Mom uses math at the grocery store to see which things are a better deal.
3. Mom uses math for lunch money every week.
4. Dad uses math to figure out how much we will spend on vacation and how long we will be driving.
5. Dad uses math to figer out how much we pay for our bills every month.

My mom uses math by counting money, in cooking recipes, and for her schoolwork. My dad uses math when he's paying the bills and when he's figuring averages at work.

My dad uses math all the time at his job. He has to figrue out how many miles he drives a day. My mom uses math at home by figuring out how much things cost when shr goes to the store. when my dad gets home my mom and dad sit down at the table and frigures out the bills. My mom has to use it for lunch. My mom also uses math for cooking.

My Dad uses math to see how many steel beams to make. He also uses math to see what the tip is at restaurants after eating a meal and when he goes on a bike ride he uses math to see how fast he went. My mom uses math to balance the check book and to add up the number of calories from food items eaten pur day.

my mom uses amth while she does taxes. also seeing how much money we have left to spend. my dad uses math to see how much money the other people who want the steal how much money they owe. also to see how much to pay his worker evenly. both see how much things in the cart and adds up the price before they go to the cashregest to see if they have enofe money
